Take a trip to the Florida Gulf Coast and visit Fort De Soto Campground by the beautiful sandy beach.

I find this CG to be a 10+ all around. The staff is polite, friendly and helpful. The views all around are beautiful; makes you feel as though you are out in the country not next to the highway. The grounds are very well kept. The sites are a little tight, but I don't mind it because I got to meet my neighbors and make some new friends. I've very much enjoyed my stay and will be back.

Ludington State Park is one of the best State Parks that Michigan has to offer. It has a wide variety of things to do from hiking, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, tubing and biking. There's a lighthouse located within hiking distance from the campground. I recommend real shoes when hiking up to the lighthouse, and try to avoid mid-day if you go in the summer, as at least 1/2 the trip will be i...

Fantastic staff and park. Clean. Stayed in the waterfront spots on two different visits, spots 76 and 78. Spectacular sunsets, nice little beach, the lake is clean and warm (in July) with a soft clean sandy bottom. I had an issue with the power when I got in, the staff sent the host over. It was actually an issue with my power plug, he had it diagnosed in minutes, and even offered to help fix it. ...

So we definitely were spoiled starting our road trip at this camp ground. Sites were level and spacious. WiFi wasn't too bad either. The staff is very friendly and made sure we had a good stay. The kids (9,8,3) enjoyed the playground and really had a good time at the Cavern that is on the grounds. They also enjoyed the catch and release pond. We stayed for two nights but really could have do...

Very nice campground. Heavily wooded. Very limited access to the lake for swimming, one very small beach for those who want to swim in the lake. Most of the lakefront in the park that I saw while there was bulkheaded. We were in spot 48. Be careful if you get this spot. There's a significant tree at the rear of the pad leaning into the pad very steeply. While backing in and not looking up we ...

Very beautiful park. Easy to get In and out of and great value for the price. The river is really pretty and it has the necessary amenities. Definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic RV Campground. While I would not consider it a resort, it is a superb RV Park. It is new so the trees have not gotten big enough to provide shade yet but it more than makes up for that. The spots are roomy for a commercial park. It has paved spots with concrete pads, landscaped grounds, secure gate, new clean laundry room, restrooms, and shower facilities, and easy to maneuver...

We stayed on a Saturday night (passing through) and they offered pizza and wings delivered to your campsite. They were delicious!! We went on a nature walk there, it was beautiful!

This a great city park. It is located on the outskirts of town and sits in a forested area. There is a camp host on-site and keeps the place running well. Site #9 is supposed to be one of the best sites but it does sit near the roadway. Having said that, there are very few cars on the roadway in the evening and only a few more during the day. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the si...

Little slice of heaven right on Lake Ontario. We stayed in site 230 which had a good view of the lake and was right next to water fill up. There were nice privacy hedges between us, the water fill up and the next site. The lady at the check-in station said we could stay hooked up if we had a splitter, but we chose not to. The staff were very nice about our extra dog (max is normally two but ours a...

This is a free campground with full hookups. How can anybody give it less than 5 stars. There are 33 pull thru spots and 3 other campers were there when I got there. They seem to be staying there full time. There are baseball diamonds and tennis court. Tot lot, and what looks like a tent area. Rodeo arena. There is not much to do around there. A grocery store and a few gas stations that serve foo...

We loved this campground! The spacious sites didn’t make us feel like we were right next to people. The picnic tables were plastic type so they were not run down like the other places. There were not a lot of trees on each individual site but the weather was perfect. The views here were amazing especially at night you could star gaze and see the Milky Way! We saw a few shooting stars! Very level s...

This park was great. The campsites are far apart and very private. The sky is great for viewing the stars. The buffalo were everywhere. They were in the center part of the Honey Loop campsites in the morning, and we drove right past them when we were leaving. Even though it was August in Texas, we didn't need the AC at night. There was very little humidity, so the evening cooled off as soon a...

Great campground! Campsites are spacious and grassy with gravel pads for your rig. Although there is little cover between sites, there is ample space between sites. Sites are electric only so fill water tank before setting up. Electric posts are shared between sites so you will probably need extra cable. I needed 50 ft to reach the outlet. Loop 3 is a short walk to the lake and beach. There are mi...

We wanted to stay in Biloxi, near the water, and have a concrete site. I found this park on Google maps. It looked nice by satellite view, and it was. We booked online and were able to choose our site. The park is right across from the beach. The pool and deck have 180° views of the gulf. Walk across the Beach Blvd and you are on the beach. We will definitely be back. At the time we stayed we had ...

The State Park is broken up into many different use areas from picnicking and boat launching to overnight camping. North Shore Campground has no hookups. We chose the North Fork campground because of the electric hookups (again hot prairie weather over 90 degrees). There are no sewer or water hookups but there is a nice double dump station with both rinse and potable water spigots on site. The cam...

Our family really enjoyed this place and wish we would have had more time to stay. The campground is very well kept and has lots of amenities for kids. We enjoyed the pool, arcade, mining station, hammock swings, and mini golf. The camp store has a good variety of toys, souvenirs, as miscellaneous RV/camping equipment. The back of our trailer was right next to the creek and so calming to hear the ...

We were passing through the area and did not want to Wally dock or Cracker Barrel dock. We wanted good full services and a concrete pad. The park was nicely manicured, the services adequate, and easy access to the park.
