These campgrounds in Michigan have spacious RV sites, beautiful views, great amenities, and easy access to nearby attractions.

Beaver Lake is a very large, forested, and gorgeous lake. There are ten Corps of Engineers campgrounds around the lake to choose from. Starkey is old and the facilities are in need of repair but the restrooms and showers were very clean. Some sites have full hookups and some electricity only. The views around the lake are amazing and the deer plentiful.

Melvern Lake Outlet COE Gorgeous park near Melvern Kansas. FHU 50/30 amp sites, lots of shade, nicely spaced sites, close to I-35, south of Topeka 30 miles. Double water faucets at campsites. Laundry facilities in every shower house. Two small lakes, one with a beach. Fishing piers and boat ramp. Paved walking paths around the lake with benches here and there. New shaded playground areas. Super clean. We were in one of two pull thrus - very level site. Probably the easiest set up we have ever had. Cute creek nearby. Other campers said they fish it but we didn't. Excellent service and the town of Seaside is always fun!

We camped at Lyman Lake site 21 for two nights in August 2020. Our campsite was one of the FHU pull through sites. The site was slightly unlevel side to side and had a little dip on either end. We were able to pull in and out with a towed vehicle so not too bad! Our site had a shelter out the passenger side with a table inside. One wall blocked the sun but the other three sides were open. Our site...

We stayed at Acadia Seashore for 4 weeks -- from mid June 2020 through mid July 2020 and loved it. The campground is on Flander's Bay with a beautiful view of Mount Desert Island. We put our kayaks in the bay right from the campground for some scenic paddling. The campground is a good 30-40 minute ride from Bar Harbor and very close to Schoodic Peninsula. There are 2 country stores near the c...

This was our second visit from Georgia to Lake Ouachita State Park. We loved it so much the first time that we had to return! We managed to get site #45 both times, first time by luck and second by request. The site is narrower with pad space behind the motor home. Outside of that pad is a hill with direct lake access. The campsite has a wonderful view overlooking the lake. We had FHU and a level ...

This was our second stay in Palo Duro Canyon. This time we stayed in the newer Juniper loop in site 112. The site was fairly close to the bathhouse but in the inner section. The outer sites are pull through and the inner sites are back in. the inner sites were surprisingly private. The sun shelters over the picnic tables were nice. All of our utilities worked well. Our site was level. Phones did n...

Ease of Entry – you need to watch the signs in order to register at the office which is across the street from the RV park. Park is very new and just perfect. This is big rig heaven!! Credit Cards Accepted yes Park Office is nice and the staff were nice. Lanes are Macadam and it was easy moving around the park with a big rig. Site covering macadam for the RV with gravel and young trees on both sid...

Very impressive campground just outside Edmonton. The Lions Club of Devon do a terrific job keeping everything running smoothly. The park welcomes pets as long as they're leashed, picked up after and not left to bark all day and night. The front gate closes at 11PM every night, so if you're out and about past 11PM, you won't be able to enter. This wasn't a problem for us and th...

This is a nice campground. The managers/staff do a nice job of keeping everything maintained. We had a pull-through site overlooking the pond. The pond is very popular for aquatic activities as well as being stocked for fishing, if that's your thing. There is a nice paved walkway around the pond and dogs are welcome as long as they stay out of the water and stay off the beach. We follow very s...

Beautiful resort - roomy roads and spots. We are total newbies and were able to get settled without issue (even though all spots are back in). It’s well laid out and in a great location.

This is a small, friendly, clean park. It has very good WiFi, cable TV, a creek, and close to shopping, hiking, the Great Smokie Mountains, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This was a perfect getaway to meet some friends. Sites H17-19 would be great alone or with friends and family as there is a little path you can use between the sites. But it gives you a sense of privacy if you are with just your family. The sites were well-groomed. Plenty of area for the kids to play and dogs to lounge around. You do have to watch that, depending on how far you back in, you could...

We LOVED our stay!! This park is beautiful, backed up to towering Montana pines with the peace and serenity of being in the mountains. We stayed in our RV. My daughter and her husband tent-camped nearby. Our lot was clean, beautiful, a great patch of grass to enjoy and lots of room to move around. My daughter's tent site was beautiful!! Grassy and under the trees. The owners of this park are ...

Yes, this is a campground managed probably like no other, but we were there for 8 days and 9 nights and loved it. I found the best way to reach either of the owners was by text. Let's just call it a "laid back" management style from the first phone call to make reservations. Made me a little nervous, but it all came together. When you did have the opportunity to connect with them as they were...

Campgrounds are kept very neat and clean . Definitely a family park. Putt putt golf, water rides, pool, playground , campfires at each site, pickleball, sand box , bike rental, canoe rental, water rides .Only negative is the dog kennel across the lake. Dogs barking in the early morning.

Nice park - excellent location. Clean grounds and common areas. Wi-fi worked better than most. Utilities performed well. Just be aware that Tennessee sales tax on your rental site, at this local is 16.75% (4% Hotel+3% Resort+9.75% Sales) Golf carts which are rented by the resort at about $40 a day become a bit of a hazard as many are driven by young children, and they were everywhere during our vi...
