How To Take An Epic RV Rental Road Trip

Planning your first road trip with an RV rental can seem overwhelming at first. These tips will help you plan an epic vacation in no time.

East Zion Riverside RV Park - Mount Carmel, Utah

There are 2 parks here, East Zion is run out of the shell station. Riverside is by best western. We had reserved riverside and told they only had a 30amp for these dates. Got mixed up and went to shell to check in and found out they had 30/50amp and lots of space first come first served. Close to road but slept fine with A.C. running. Shaded spots were great for this heat. Would highly recommend f...

Oconee Point COE - Seneca, South Carolina

This is our favorite campground on Hartwell Lake. Many waterfront sites are set up to anchor a boat right at your campsite. Staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. Shower house is very nice and kept clean. Interior roads are asphalt and easy to navigate. Parking pads are level, compacted gravel. Overhead trees were trimmed so there was no problem with branches on our motorhome. Good pow...

Eastlake RV Resort - Houston, Texas

Nice park. There were a number of people that looked like they lived on the property but the properties were basically clean and well kept. Our site was a pull through and we had no issues. Everything with the park was clean and well kept. Enjoyed the pool and the rocking chairs sitting near the lake. We only stayed a couple nights, but were will satisfied with our stay.

Timberlake Campground - Whittier, North Carolina

Serene, Peaceful, and Gorgeous mountain and creek view! We stayed 2 nights here and enjoyed the tranquility! Bring Fishing Poles and Swim suits to fish and swim in lakes.... Hardly any cell reception and the WiFi was pretty much non existent... was OK with us to disconnect for a few days... but do not depend on WIFI at your site!! Family owned and operated for 60 years! NO SEWER hookup, but they d...

Olde Stone Village RV Park - McMinnville, Oregon

The Park was well landscaped, orderly and the facilities were clean. The free wifi worked consistently, and better than most of my free wifi experiences. The pool and playground were closed due to COVID, but looked nice and would have been enjoyed had they been open. I had to change my reservation a number of times leading up to my stay, and staff was very helpful and accommodating with each chang...

Partridge Hollow Campground - Monson, Massachusetts

We are new to RV camping and the folks at Partridge Hollow were awesome. They helped us out setting up our hoses and parking our TT. The seasonal campers were so friendly. Can’t wait to come back for another visit.

Sundown RV Park - Salina, Kansas

No riff raff here! If you're just passing through this is a great place to overnight. Yes, it is near the interstate, but that's why we chose to stay here and the interstate noise isn't bad. Sites are back in, but easy enough even with a big fifth wheel. Owners are great and easy to reach if you need anything. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us during mid J...

Hideout Motel & RV - Cokeville, Wyoming

Nice little Mom & Pop place out back of their hotel. It is still only 3 back-in full hookups. They have a fun little play area next to the rv spots with swings, tetherball, teeter totter, trampoline and a fire ring. Just over 2hr drive to or from Jackson at a great price.

Virginia Highland Haven Airstream Park - Copper Hill, Virginia

This place is a hidden gem. It's set on 75acres of beautiful land with hiking trails, including a waterfall. The views are spectacular, it's quiet location is within 40minutes of Roanoke and Blacksburg and 20mins to Floyd for dining, music, shopping. Bike trails are in Christiansburg and Roanoke.

Aspen Acres Campground - Rye, Colorado

Extremely clean park nestled in an Aspen grove. Almost all sites are full hookups; 7 are back-in sites with water and electric only. Electric is 30 amp - but you don't need air conditioning at this elevation even in the middle of summer. Most are back-in sites; there is an area of maybe 10 pull-through sites. Gravel pads are fairly level but some are shorter than others so choose wisely if y...

Prairie Oasis Campground And Cabins - Henderson, Nebraska

We enjoyed our overnight stay here! Patty and Todd were very friendly and helpful. Everyone was practicing social distancing and wearing masks. Todd escorted us to our site and ensured we had everything we needed. Park is clean and well maintained. Some open area green space including a pond in which we saw kids fishing. 50A service, water, sewer all worked well. Easy access from I-80. Level gr...

Mammoth Creek RV Resort - Hatch, Utah

Small park in the Dixie National Forest. Close to Bryce and Zion, but not close to the road or highway which makes it VERY quiet. Rate reflects weekly rate, overnight rates not currently available. 5 pull-through sites, 2 of which are "buddy sites", all of which are level. Big Rig access is no problem. Ted and Lori continue to make improvements to the park ("soft" construction so no machinery...

RedRock RV Park - Island Park, Idaho

Everything about this park is great! Level sites, great views, and great service. We got a back in site and we had three men in golf carts lead us to the site, help me disconnect the tow dolly and then they towed the tow dolly way to storage for me, and then helped us back in. I mean I could have done this all myself, but it saved me time and energy ... as I said great service. I think it woul...

Kalyumet Campground - Lucinda, Pennsylvania

Beautiful, peaceful, friendly wooded setting. Level sites that easily accommodate large setups.. good RV access for all sizes..good water pressure, great customer service.. close to Cooks Forest and grocery shopping..pet friendly. July 4 weekend.

Creek Side Resort - Hays, Kansas

Nice new park, close but not too close to I-70. Friendly, attentive staff, long pull through sites, laundry, showers, store, etc. No cable but good antenna reception. Propane available. We'll definitely stay again.

Chimney Rock Pioneer Crossing - Bayard, Nebraska

Clean, well spaced, beautiful views both day and night, level. What more can you ask for? Even have a lunch/snack bar with ice cream. Nice people too!

Pechanga RV Resort & Casino - Temecula, California

I love it here quite and very peaceful.

Paisano Village RV Park & Inn - Terlingua, Texas

This recently-built park is just 4 miles from the west entrance of Big Bend NP. It's a basic gravel park with concrete dividers, some pull-through spaces and some back-in places. Hookups are in good working order and the wifi is surprisingly good. Best part is the sweet, friendly and helpful owners who are ready to go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. We would stay t...
