Dreher Island State Recreation Area - Prosperity, South Carolina

We loved this park so much that we cancelled our return stay at another campground and returned here. Beautiful sites on Lake Murray! We stayed at sites on the water and you can swim from your site. Sites range from $34-$48 depending on type of camping and location. Campers bring boats of all kinds and tie them up at their site. Perfect for bikes, kids and dogs. The park is beautiful, well kept an...

Manistique Lakeshore Campground - Manistique, Michigan

I’m not a camper. My reviews reflect those of a traveler. I use the park mostly for utilities and a hub to explore the area. Manistique is a newer city park with 50 spots right on the coast of Lake Michigan. There seem to be a few tent only sites, but most are back in concrete pads with full hookups. There are a few pull throughs. Hook ups are good and water pressure is about 60psi. The sit...

Mt Desert Narrows Camping Resort - Bar Harbor, Maine

Great easy pull through site with water view of the bay. Full hookups and cable. Nice size lot with a picnic table, fire ring, large evergreen and hardwoods for partial shade. One roadway between us and the grassed tenting area along the shore. No width issues for slide or awning. There are actually RV sites on the water but only water/electric hookups. We like it so well there that we booked ano...

Paradise Alaska RV Park - Palmer, Alaska

Super clean and well maintained this park is situated in the unique Palmer farmland. Picturesque and rural, and close to Palmer and Wasilla for all your consumer needs. The hookups were first rate. There is a small amount of road noise from the commercial entities on the road during the day and depending on the wind, you might be on the departure end of the Palmer Airport, which is likely busier t...

Bay Shore Campground - Rock Hall, Maryland

This was our first trip in our new RV, with another couple and their new RV. Our shake down land voyage. The park was clean, welcoming and on the water with a wonderful constant breeze. We were parked in two of the new RV spaces. The owner came around to see if everything was okay on the first day. There are dedicated fire pits at each of these new spaces. All spaces were angled so you had p...

Sned-Acres Family Campground (formerly Ridgewood Campground) - Ovid, New York

We just finished a 3 night stay at Sned-Acres Family Campground in Ovid, New York. This place was spectacular... it was quiet and secluded and close to all the nice Finger Lakes’ wineries as well as beautiful waterfalls. The cost was $37.00 a night. They have full hook-ups with sewer and WiFi. They have a pool, a game room, and frisbee golf for the kiddos and adults. They have open fields and a c...

Toqua Campground - Vonore, Tennessee

Very pleasantly surprised by this sweet little park run by retired Army. Security gate. Camp store. Several docks for fishing, swimming beach, nice private, air conditioned bath houses near the little cabins (with no bathrooms). These were super clean. Our shaded, full hookup, pull thru site (123) had a picnic table, fire ring, a couple tiki torches and a bbq grate. Very nice for our shake down ...

Trailer Village RV Park - Roswell, New Mexico

Debbie was beyond phenomenal. We were having RV troubles and she waited up for us after hours; guided us to our exact RV stop. Beyond gracious customer service. The RV site was so clean and organized, we had zero troubles and felt completely "at home". Debbie then was up early in the morning at the RV store at the front of the RV park, and helped us purchase awesome Alien gear from the RV store!! ...

StonyBrook RV Resort - Lehighton, Pennsylvania

We are always on the look out for another place to stay so when we are camping, one of the things we do is to investigate other campgrounds in the area. Last year we looked at Stony Brook. This year we stayed here. OK, the review. The Campground: This CG is not real close to town, but not so far out as to make getting anywhere or getting supplies difficult. It is quiet. no highway noise, NO Train...

New Frontier RV Park & Campground - Presho, South Dakota

The staff were friendly(!!!) and super helpful with some problems we had with our own water and sewer hoses. The owner planted trees and the place is pristine right next to a field. The site was almost level, and there was a nice distance between sites. This place is up and coming as the owner is investing in it and making it lovely. Just an hour and a half (almost) from the Badlands. It is a perf...

Bellefonte / State College KOA - Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

Amazing bathrooms that are better than any KOA that I have been to. Everything was open and the activities were fun for the kids and us adults (tie die shirts, scavenger hunts, bingo). The site, as a whole, is very well maintained and the staff takes pride in their site. A bit pricey but I still highly recommend this KOA even though they all seem to be Penn State fans (jk).

Pittsfield City Lake - Pittsfield, Illinois

Friendly, clean, value, great lake.

Santa Cruz County Fair RV Park - Watsonville, California

A great place for short or long term stay for workers that travel. South of Santa Cruz in Watsonville, CA. Very peaceful and there is a swap meet on Sundays at the Fairground!

McDowell Mountain Regional Park - Scottsdale, Arizona

McDowell Mountain is a phenomenal park, as are all Maricopa County parks. This particular one is popular for its bicycle offerings. It's a stunning park and the views from camp never disappoint. There's a cute little playground in the campground for the wee ones as well as lots of trails to chose from. It's consistent with the other Maricopa parks in that the partial hookups were r...

Devil's Den State Park - West Fork, Arkansas

Very nice clean level asphalt pad with extra parking. Nice picnic table, grill and fire pit. Large tent pad also. We stayed in site 54 and had a great view of the creek and rock cliff that people jumped off of.

Crooked River State Park - Saint Marys, Georgia

Crooked River is a clean well managed state park near St. Mary's Ga. Sites are flat and easily accessible due to wide roads. The park is quiet and the sites are perfectly spaced for privacy. It offers peace, privacy, activities and security. We stayed in sites 6 and 7. 6 is full hook up and 7 was water and electric only. All sites are desirable, some full hook and some not. We found 44 and...

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park At Daddy Joe's - Tabor City, North Carolina

We really loved our stay here. Smaller campground literally in the middle of nowhere. The water park is awesome. The restrooms were constantly clean and fresh. The food is great. The sites aren’t huge but also not tight. Pavement with a OK size yard includes a fire pit. Plenty to do all weekend on the campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a bummer is the COVID re...

Little Black Creek Campground & Park - Lumberton, Mississippi

Was our 1st time here, will not be our last. Sites were spaced apart with trees in between and all around. Some sites including ours had a slant to pad. Water washed away mud around concrete that picnic tables were on. A little TLC needs to be done on some of the wooden decks that are on some sites but not to where was unbearable. Beautiful scenery along lake. Birds were singing, squirrels w...

Hidden Oaks Family Campground - Hammond, Louisiana

I Loved this location. Our site was well shaded by Oak trees. Has a beach on Tangipahoa River and swimming pool. Gave us a great weekly rate. Easy in and out. Plenty room on sites. Nice trails to hike and take our dog for walks. Beautiful peacocks wander the grounds and come to visit sites as they are very use to people. The owners are very nice and accommodating.
