People who have older RVs and have stayed at high-end RV parks may have run into the 10 year rule.

First time staying here and we love it. You have the ocean on one side and the river on the other. The amenities are great and I like that you feel like you're in your own space and not looking right at someone. There are 2 really good restaurants and one is on the property. There is another restaurant less than a mile too. The beach is nice because it's in a nice housing area meani...

Best value in South Fork Area. $425-475 monthly rates on super sized lots. Lots are mostly level with a mix of 30/50 amp. Community center with games and pool tables, library and TV nook. Good cellular service with both ATT and Verizon. No OTA but park has a solid Wi-fi signal throughout the park. Some trees for shade. Relatively quiet for campground on hwy, but 149 is never really loud. Ca...

Nice level sites. I have a 33 foot motorhome and had plenty of space. The bathhouse was clean and were cleaned everyday. There is no wireless service for internet, and little phone service. The closest town is Elkin which is 8 miles away. The HIKING is wonderful.

This was our first time tot the park, beautiful area great campsites with lots of tress, lots of privacy nice paths to the bath houses. The road arounf the camprground circles is narrow and getting into a site can be tricky. The rangers at the station were very friendly and helpful but in our 4 day stay never had one come by to say hi or see how things were going. There are miles of trails if yo...

This is the very best campground in the Lancaster area. The entire campground is very well maintained and super clean. All sites are level gravel as well as the road through the campground. Electric , water ,sewer, and cable TV hookups worked perfectly and well maintained. WiFi service was strong reception at the campsite. Sites are nicely spaced. The grass is beautiful and weed free. They actu...

We loved this park! It is a little pricey and the set up isn’t anything overly fancy, but the view is breathtaking. Our large trailer fit easily. And we did see lots of large trailers and motorhomes. The beach is private and a short walk across the street. We found lots of shells and sand dollars. Bald eagles are often seen on the beach. It’s also a beach walk to salt creek recreation area and th...

We loved this campground! They asked if we wanted a shady or sunny spot. We took a shady spot in the pines and it was private & cozy. The lake is absolutely beautiful for relaxing by it or fishing. The playground is old school and so much fun with teeter totters and metal slides & more. Ellicottville is only 15 minutes away & our favorite for daytime activities.

Very nice park, feels like there are more units then the 71 it says they have. Interior roads are well laid out and access to our pull through was easy. The gravel pad did require some leveling and was just big enough to allow for the stairs to drop down on the edge of the large grass area. Ample room between pads allows for there to be plenty of clearance from your neighbors sewer and your pic...

Lovely park, sits on a private lake with catch and release fishing if you like. We were in back-in site 4, in the first section straight past the office, we are 34ft plus a crew cab long bed truck, be aware it's a tight turn and there is a retaining wall about 1 1/2 ft. tall on the right side of the road. The turn was tight enough it just caught the edge of the truck bumper and hub cap wit...

My daughter and I camped here. She was in a tent site next door to us. Great site, nice views of Lake Superior! As many from the area know, the weather is literally dictated by the direction of the wind. If it's coming off the lake, it's easily 20 degrees cooler than if it's coming from the other direction in the summer. The people in the office were very friendly, so I'd love...

We thoroughly enjoyed this campground. There are several sites along the creek where kids can get in and play. There are 3 bath houses in this park which are very well maintained. From our campsite, they were all within easy walking distance. The bath house at the end of the campground does not have a bench or anything to place your stuff on, just 2 hooks. Be aware that some of the sites have...

We're 45' long, so not every loop can accommodate us due to the twisting roads. That said, loop A is the most level but each loop has great sites. Not a bad site in the campground! Standard electricity and water, fire ring, new metal picnic table and a wood plank stand up station for prep. Clean and spacious bath houses scattered throughout. Boat ramp, fossil collecting, swimming, playg...

First visit here. We were told they were new owners since November or 2019. Kevin & Jennifer were friendly, social, and very responsive. The campground sits on a hill that has an awesome western view looking out on a farming valley. Beautiful sunsets. On the other side is a residential area that poses no problem. Sites are groomed gravel with strips of lawn between units. Sites are very lon...

Amazing campground. Consistently clean and well run for the 25 years we have camped there. Nestled amongst a forest of Norwegian Pines, which is a bit unusual for Maine, the sites are large and the lakeside sites are picturesque with views of the Crockers, a series of premiere Maine mountains, in the distance. Great family atmosphere with privacy, deep in the heart of Western Maine. You are wi...

These campsites have character! Many have wooden decks, in addition to an area for the picnic table and fire ring. They also have a sufficient amount of privacy, most pads are level, plenty of shade, some have water views. Our campsite (15) was idyllic. If you have mobility issues, be aware that many sites have steps leading up or down to the wooden decks and/or the area for the picnic table. ...

What a diamond!! The sites are level and well spaced. The owners are on site and take pride in their park and it shows. We were escorted to our pull through site that was more than long enough for our 33' fifth wheel and truck. It's a quiet campground. Good WiFi and cell service.

Some national parks get so crowded during peak season, it’s just not worth your time if you truly want to enjoy the park. These national parks are better experienced in the fall, after the major crowds are gone, or in the spring when you can also view the blooming wildflowers.
