Cathedral Pines Campground - Eustis, Maine

Beautiful campsite on Flagstaff Lake. Lake side sites are spectacular, with incredible views of the water and surrounding area. Kids had a blast riding in the camp site and hiking the nearby trails.

Twin Butte Campground - Bowman, North Dakota

This was an absolutely fabulous stop on our travels. It is a gem of a small, family owned, park. It has only 15 spaces, but we were the only ones there so it was more like stopping to visit a friend. The sites are on a grass yard which was solid enough for our motorhome despite a recent rain. The sites are electric only, with a dump station available and a well with excellent water if needed. ...

Lakeview Campground USFS - Leadville, Colorado

This is a Gem. There were very few campers in the entire campground. The views of the Twin Lakes from Loop F up to H are spectacular. You are surrounded by mountains and it is quiet. Many folks run their generators since this is a boondocking campground but because sites are so far apart, that is not a problem. When we were there, the water was shut off due to COVID19 and confusion between th...

Backbone State Park - Strawberry Point, Iowa

Very nice park, sites are well spaced apart. Some with shade. A few without. Pit toilet was very clean. We didn't go into the shower house, so unknown. They also have some nice cabins, a large beach, plenty of playgrounds, and a stocked trout stream. We bought wood from a local vendor for $5 a nice bundle. No issues with power. We have a wifi extender and got 4G and connections pretty well. ...

Big Chief RV Resort - Burnet, Texas

Great campground and nice setting. Right on Lake Buchanan at the Dam.

Corinth Recreation Area - USFS - Double Springs, Alabama

I love COE campgrounds as they're almost always very nice. However, so few have sewer connections. This is one of the rare exceptions which is great as my girls prefer the RV facilities to bathhouses. And since we were visiting during the Covid outbreak in June 2020 the bathhouses were locked anyway (I assume they were providing keys to the handful of tent campers who were there during thi...

Three Island Crossing State Park - Glenns Ferry, Idaho

There are two loops. We stayed in the lower loop, space 61. I loved this campground. Excellent condition, spaces shaded and large, very family and pet friendly. Just a nice campground to hang out at. All the camp sites are on the outside of the loops with a large grassy area on the inside. Each grassy area has 2 covered picnic areas that can be reserved. Walking distance to the Snake River. I ca...

Montgomery South RV Park - Hope Hull, Alabama

The property is located in a really beautiful countryside and landscape! The park itself is smaller, understated, quiet and peaceful. Level gravel sites. Very friendly staff. The very best part were the GORGEOUS fields and open space around the property - horses and beautiful little calf. Our dog LOVED meeting the animals. It was like when you were a kid on a farm - just open and gorgeous.

Creekwood Farm RV Park - Waynesville, North Carolina

Just what we needed after a 4 day travel through 4 differ states and 4 differ campsites with our pup and pulling our camper. This was a warm, country feel, welcoming, instantly relaxing place considering we called and came last minute. We feel we ended up with the best spot smack in the middle of the park, the bathrooms were so private and cozy, it was just the homey feel we needed after our long ...

Rivernook Campground - Kernville, California

Stayed 8 days, site #42, which is a 30amp with water. Right on creek. We had a wonderful time, the staff was friendly & helpful. Sites were large, plenty of space to set up & not be on top of your neighbors. We loved having the creek right behind us to relax in, and rafting the Kern was so fun! Lots of hiking in the area.. we hiked 7 Teacups trail, Unal Trail & visited 100 Giant Trees. Tip: watch ...

Kiptopeke State Park - Cape Charles, Virginia

Stayed for 3 nights had a EWS site but on day 2 I tried to dump grey water and it was over flowing. Talked to camp host (very nice) and the called a ranger. They tried to fix but said sewer is older and slowly they are shutting down dumps at sites. Aside from that nice, wide and level spots. Walk to beach was nice. Aside from the 7 kids in the 2 sites next to us who screamed all day and into...

Redwood Meadows RV Resort (formerly Hiouchi RV Resort) - Crescent City, California

Lovely park on route 197 close to the redwoods. Pick one of the pull throughs on the back side of the park. Your door side will be facing the wooded area and very private since units are end to end with shrubs at each end of each. Roads were easy to navigate but the pull throughs can be a little tricky if your long. A little pricey but it is CA. There is some road noise from the lumber hauler...

3 Fingers Campground - Forest City, Iowa

There are a limited number of weekend spots here, and mostly seasonal. The seasonal campers are so friendly. We loved it here. The owners are great, and keep the campground clean and very family friendly. We brought our kayaks and paddle boards. The ponds are clean and very accessible. Fishing was fun too. They have it stocked with various fish species. We will be coming back to camp here.

Summer Breeze Campground - Iron Mountain, Michigan

We have stayed at this park 3 times over the last decade, and it has yet to disappoint. The campground is always clean, quiet, and safe. The sites are level, large, and clean. Checking in is always a quick friendly process. The town is about 3 miles away from where you can buy whatever your heart desires.

CreekFire Motor Ranch - Savannah, Georgia

Wow, grand entrance - they call it a Motor Ranch - and is true to its name. Beautiful, new buildings - everything neat, organized, clean, tidy. Front desk area is like a hotel lobby which overlooks a big pool - with a separate children's pool. Lots of green space. Really nice Laundry facility - we didn't use but it looked great. Currently 2-3 different parking/site areas. The first ...

Buena Vista Coastal RV Resort - Orange Beach, Alabama

First time there! Awesome Class A Luxury Resort, Large sites , wide entry & streets! Lazy river, inside heated pool! Pond full of fish, gated park awesome security! The place is very friendly! Right across from Gulf! PS, they have coach houses if you need extra room! Very very nice !!!!

Centennial RV Park And Campground - Montrose, Colorado

Excellent RV park! Sites are huge, level, and although 'shared'/dual sites they're wide and the 2 rigs are staggered so you do not feel like you're on top of your neighbor, and the hook-ups are in the middle. Large grassy areas, large trees. Very, very relaxing, wide open with great views. Some road noise on the sites that are closer to 550 out of Montrose, but we were in th...

Davidsonville Historic State Park - Pocahontas, Arkansas

Arkansas State Parks remain among our top places to stay. Davidsonville though small was top notch. A few days prior to arrival, we received a confirmation email that they were in fact open as these were COVID times. The day of arrival we received a phone call asking us to authorize full credit card payment and that we would not need to check in at the visitors’ center. Upon arrival we proceed...

Camp Langston RV Resort - Mount Pleasant, Texas

A new park, they opened June 1st. We stayed in the first week. They have well-spaced sites, you are not camped on top of each other. A year-round heated pool and work out room. Very nice bathrooms and laundry. Groomed and marked walking trails as well as more rigorous hiking trails- they have 800 acres. Free boating with kayaks and canoes, volleyball court, covered pavilions, covered basketball co...

Ashland RV Campground - Ashland, Nebraska

Staff is very friendly and the park is very close to downtown historical Ashland. Many stores to shop, especially, The Gift Niche. Frisbee golf is right near by and a hiking path along the salt creek river. The city library is near by and a few restaurants within walking distance. The kids park is very nice and our daughter enjoyed it. I would stay here again!

Ashland RV Campground - Ashland, Nebraska

Very nice new RV campground not much shade yet, tree's planted, in a few years. Bathrooms, very nice an clean, hot showers felt so good! The set up was nice, 60' x14', our camper and pickup truck fit one slab and a friends pickup fit the extra slab. We even fit our 12'x12' screened in tent with there new picnic table under it, at the end of the 60' slab + camper + pic...
