This is a beautiful park right off the highway. I wasn't able to hear any highway noise. The lake on the property is unique. I applaud this campground for being open in the winter and having very warm showers. It was self-serve when you come in but when I called the number seeking some assistance for a campsite they answered and came out to assist. That's even during the ice storm !

I had the park all to myself and it's a beautiful state park with just a short walk to the water. Winter camping is amazing. So quiet and the trees were so pretty with the fresh snow

I had the whole park to myself and they could have easily closed up for the winter but I was traveling from Denver to Michigan and they allowed me to stay the night. No water neeeded so it worked great. Beautiful area.

Great park for big rigs with water and electric 30/50 Amp. Well maintained and upgrades on showers and restroom for the RV areas almost finish. Picnic tables and fire ring with grill. Private spaces with green nature surroundings, very quite and peaceful at night sets. Rangers and volunteers very nice and helpful.

Such a deal . . . $11 a night (Geezer Pass price) for a water/electric site with an amazing view of the river. There were full-hookup sites available for $12 with Senior Pass. Our first time at a COE campground--we're hooked. Roads through the park were easy to navigate in a Class A. Access road leading to park a bit narrow, but minimal traffic so no big deal. Our site was a pull-throug...

One of the nicest parks we've ever stayed in. All 133 sites are pull thrus; pretty level, concrete with concrete patios, picnic table, grill, full hook-ups. The Family Room and bathrooms are spotless. Being retired DoD civilians got us a discount rate. No reservations, first come, first served.

Lot ownership or rentals. I had a 3 month covered rental space. Super nice!

Beautiful RV park, sites about 20 feet wide. Not a lot of long sites, our 38-foot did okay, our site faced the lake. Very nice laundry and clubhouse with free popcorn. Three outdoor kitchens with gas grill, tables, gas fire pit. Nice pool and hot tub. Great dog walk area. My only complaint is that all the garbage dumpsters were all in one location, far away from where our site was. The park is ni...

This campground is right off of the 710 freeway so no need to traverse through a city to stay in a city. We spent four nights here. Long Beach has several business districts to explore with many restaurants, movie theatres, etc. There is a wonderful bike/walking path from the campground that goes for miles. We walked to the Queen Mary one day and around downtown Long Beach another day. There ...

We stayed on site 17 in a 40’ motor home with plenty of space. Site has fire ring and picnic table for great outdoor cooking and hanging out. Very nice bath house with washer and dryer. Camp host was great and gave us our space. We will definitely be back.

This is actually one of the nicest thousand trails I've ever been to. All the facilities seem to be very well kept and there are both dirt and fully paved sites available. They do allow fire in fire pits. They have a hot tub and a pool and cabanas with flatscreen TVs. There is a dock with about 30 boat slips a general store and a small restaurant. They have basketball courts, mini golf, tenn...

This is our 3rd year in a row to visit this park and we will continue to come back as long as it exists and we're on the road. It's not fancy, but there is a charm unlike anywhere else we've found so far in our 3 years of traveling full time. The locals are wonderful and helpful and there's a sense of community even if you stay for just a night. Most people come here to stay f...

I stayed at Indian Peaks RV Park in Cedar City Utah for the month of January. It has the BEST rates in town. ALL amenities and hook-ups were included in the monthly price. I stacked my discounts and got 25% off. The park is beautiful and very peaceful. They offer restrooms, showers, laundry and a relaxing sitting room. Will DEFINITELY Stay here again! I want to thank the management and the Paiute ...

Access to the park is good. Signage could be a bit better. The signs is quite small at the entrance to Admiral Craik Drive. It begins where LA 1 makes a sharp left. Admiral Craik is straight ahead. Check in was quick, easy and informative. The road into the camping area is in good condition. There are speed bumps to control speed. The interior roads are paved and in fair condition. Our site...

A real jewel among Texas State Parks. There campsites are well maintained and the Park is kept very tidy and clean. Park staff were very helpful and especially friendly. The area in the Park is heavily wooded on a small lake. The Park store rents all kinds of boats. It's a very popular campground especially on weekends.

This is a wonderful place! It's very small and a little tight, but I didn't have any trouble parking my 40' MH. By the time we left we had made friends with the people around us and they moved their tow vehicles so that I could get out easier. It's away from the highway and is very quite. They have a great restaurant on-site with great food.

This is a wonderful campground! There are no hookups, but that's what we like. The sites are laid out around a large lake that has alligators in it so you can watch them swim back and forth across the lake. It also has great cell service as there is a tower right outside the gate.

This park is wonderful. Secluded at the end of the barrier island, it’s peaceful, quiet and safe. The park rangers and campground staff are friendly and quick to resolve any issues(the men’s shower area didn’t have hot water one evening). We were worried about all the prior reports of mosquitos, but didn’t really have an issue during our stay. The trails were long & our only wish was that the park...

This is a heavily wooded campground about 10 miles from Atlanta, Texas. The CG is on the shore of a large and beautiful lake. The Park's staff and Hosts were very friendly and helpful. During our 3 day stay, it was very quiet and peaceful. Satellite service is very difficult because of the many 60' - 80' trees. There is OTA TV service. This East Texas State Park is a great bar...
