Great overnite stop. We highly recommend this place. Camp hosts were so friendly and escorted us to our nice level site overlooking the “prairie”. Everything was neat and tidy. They are expanding the size of the park and I noted several large horse pens for those campers with horses. There is also a fenced in dog park though as others have mentioned, just nice to walk around the perimeter of the p...

This is one of our favorite places to stay. The sites are very large gravel sites that are pretty level and were easy to get in and out of. The showers and bathrooms were pristine. All of the staff that we came in contact were so friendly and made you feel valued. The stars of the place are the Alpacas in our book. You can help feed the Alpacas at 9am every morning. It was a great experience ...

First Impression: Rather an eclectic layout. Sites seem to be placed rather haphazardly with little rhyme nor reason. Appealing. Safety: No concerns. Access: Follow US-80 east out of Savannah, GA. When you see the “Welcome to Tybee Island” big sign on the right, slow down and look for the big sign on the left pointing to the CG. About ½ mile. Municipal roads in good condition, good signage, Garmin...

This is our second visit to this CG, first was in 2016. A former mobile home park, the conversion to a classy RV park continues. Safety: No concerns. Access: On Wrightsboro Road between I-520 and Jimmie Dyess Pkwy. Good signs, municipal road in good condition, Garmin GPS is accurate. Office: Small office for registration only. No store. Credit cards accepted. Online reservation request form or cal...

We absolutely loved staying here. Campground is located in a beautiful area of Chuckey with lovely views (from certain sites) and the owners are wonderful (informative, quite helpful) hosts. VERY well maintained and quiet; spacious, level lots including some pull-throughs. We appreciate his careful policies and all of the fun (see website) that make the stay one of our favorite RV memories. There...

We stayed here five nights in a forty foot fifth wheel. If you haven't been here in a while, you need to give it another try. In 2017 they completely reworked water and electric to all sites so that all have 20/30/50 and about twenty sites now have FHU (with sewer). The park is very well laid out with paved roads, and packed sand sites. All sites are easy in/out. Please note that some ...

Great campground, great location. The campground is immaculate and was voted KOA of the year for 2019. The afternoon / evening sunset view from the pier is fantastic. This was our first KOA stay, and there will definitely be more. We stayed at a patio pull through site which was ready and clean when we arrived. They have a super friendly staff which guided us to our site and stayed a few minu...

Wow, great service, well kept facility, convenient location. We spent a week here exploring Galveston area. Our original choice had been the state park, as we heard nice things about it and its proximity to the beach. Well, the state park is under construction, and the entire beach area is closed, not to mention the only open campground is not really much to see. So we looked for an alternative. ...

This is a beautiful state park. Very clean. Spacious sites. Visitor center staff was very friendly & helpful. Only downfall is NO cell service. There are several hiking trails, small museum at the center. Horse back riding is also available. We had deer all around us, squirrels & birds. Lots of nature! There is also a lake!

This is a beautiful park and very well maintained. We were in site 8. I will say that the sites are close together, but I like getting to know my neighbors so that is not a negative to me at all. The owners and the staff were all great. Always available for advice on what to do and see. We are 61' long when hooked up and I will say it's a bit tight getting in and out. Slow and steady and...

The owners of this campground live at the campground and are also the managers. I came here in 2 foot of snow, the owners helped me set up my camper up which is not 4 season. They put hay bails around my camper and insulated and heated the water lines. There is a small charge for electricity bit it's like $80 a month for my small camper. Sand Springs Campground has the only Olympic size swimm...

Our first time at a Florida State Park and we were very impressed! This park is immaculate and grounds are well-maintained. Sites are wide and easy to back into. I saw one or two pull through sites, but there may be more. Lots of woods, vegetation as well as some open spaces along the river. A few sites (like ours, #28) have a view of the river. The bathhouse is clean, has spacious shower st...

I camped at this state park from Dec 30 - Jan 4. To my delight & surprise, upon arrival we were told they were running a special of half-price campsites during Dec & Jan! Wow - Happy New Year to me! Anyways, the park would have been well worth full price of $38.00/nightly. I stayed in site 46, which was right across from the bath house. This was one of the cleanest bath houses I've seen....

After reading a review about dog walking, we came here a bit nervous. Turns out they only don’t want your dog to go on the grassy areas between RVs but could walk around on the gravel all they want and then they did have a little dog run. Beautiful location, host brings you to spot, overlooking Yellowstone and the town, pull through, level, FHU, 50 amp, Verizon strong. And an elk family basical...

Great military RV park—no real amenities but everything we needed for a 3-day stop. It is at a lake and probably has a lot more amenities through MWR. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. This park is not on base but still felt very safe and secure. Put 4400 Leesburg Rd to get to the entrance or GPS will route you through the base. The first 20 sites are very spaced out, the utilities wo...

Prairie Creek is a peaceful get-a-way from it all. Very quiet and remote (but safe). There’s nothing close by to do or see (maybe the town of Selma), but we weren’t looking for entertainment and activities, just a place to unwind and “refuel” on our way south to Destin, Florida. It’s about 20 miles off Interstate 65, but worth the drive. You’re also a good 20-25 minutes from any type of store,...

Price reflects Coast to Coast membership. Campground was very easy to find using GPS. If you are looking for someplace to stay with friends or family—this is a great option. They have a beautiful lodge, cabins, Yurts and multiple campsite styles. Every interaction we had with staff was positive. Each one seemed genuinely interested in us having the best visit possible. There is a restaurant ...

Great location near the highway but within minutes if San Antonio TX and shopping. Pool, hot tub, fishing, docks, ducks and geese, and large spaces. They have hall for meetings if needed and offer breakfast on Sat and Sun. Manager is friendly and works with you and helps if needed.

Price paid reflects Texas Parks Pass, which waives day use fees. We enjoyed this park so much. It's a small park. There isn't a ton to do at the park itself, but what they do have is nice, clean, and well-kept. The campsites are clean and well-maintained. Most are also rather large, and ours was particularly so. Sites have electricity, water, and sewer connections. Site pad is con...
