Limehurst Lake Campground - Williamstown, Vermont

So - we were here for fall colors... WOW. The sites are nice and flat - don't know I would want to be here in the heat of summer, very few trees.. but there are some at some sites. Decent size dog park next to a very large open grassy area to walk your dog. I would definitely come back again in Spring or Fall.

Victoria Bryant State Park - Royston, Georgia

We camped in Site 20 which is a dual site for One Trailer/Camper & a Tent. It is about $12 more expensive than the "Standard" campsites & $10 more than the "Premium" campsites but it allows you to have up to 12 people as oppose to the normal 6 per campsite. We brought our 28' Vintage Argosy, One (6 person) tent & a popup canopy for 8 people. This is the first campsite in Georgia's Sta...

Hunting Island State Park - Beaufort, South Carolina

We spent four lovely nights on Hunting Island and would have happily stayed longer! We've camped all over the US and have never stayed in a quieter full CG. Most of the sites, with the exception of those closest to the beach, are extremely private with vegetation separating each site. Mosquitoes are problematic, but are a small price to pay considering the sweeping dog-friendly beach.

Sunset Point Campground - Harrington, Maine

Small campground and owners are very friendly. Plenty of room to walk the dogs. Owner has even made a trail alongside the shoreline. this camp ground is about 90 minutes from Bar Harbor but the drive was very pretty.

Arrowwood Cedar Shore Resort - Oacoma, South Dakota

The campground is on the Missouri River and the view is beautiful! When you stay there, you also have access to the indoor pool and hot tub in the motel next door. There's a nice playground for children and the property is clean. Some sites are completely in the sun but there's shaded sites as well. I definitely will go back there again. It's very quiet and the people we met were ve...

Hocking Hills State Park - Logan, Ohio

We recently sold our camper, but we love Hocking Hills and had the itch to camp. This was our first family trip in a tent. There are not a lot of sites ideal for tent camping, but 161, in our opinion, was the best! The site has a very large wooded area for tents, as well as a great trail to Rose Lake. It isn't extremely close to the shower house, but not awful. Be warned....the racoons in thi...

Quechee / Pine Valley KOA - White River Junction, Vermont

Very nice park - very clean, staff is great. There are a couple of levels... lower level has small but acceptable dog area, upper area has a HUGE open field you can walk your dog or let them run loose. So much to see in this area - make time, stay long enough to see as much as possible. Some sites have lovely patios - but all are nice and most very level.

RedRock RV Park - Island Park, Idaho

Up front, this was one of the best, well run, and friendly campgrounds we had ever stayed in during our 1st year of being 3/4 time. The staff immediately made you feel like family. Check in was easy and we were escorted to our FHU pull-through site, 69. Utilities were smartly placed on this site and others. There was a new Verizon tower so we got a strong signal. Internet worked really well. ...

Old Highway 86 Campground - Blue Eye, Missouri

This is a wonderful campground. Facilities are excellent. The campground is built on an peninsula at the south end of Table Rock Lake. As a result virtually every site has a view of the lake. The facilities are excellent. Every site has a paved pad for the camper with an adjacent gravel and concrete patio with a picnic table.

Lower Lehman Creek Campground (NPS Campground) - Great Basin National Park, Nevada

Was a beautiful spot! We stayed in site 4 which was about the only site here that fit our 40 ft 5th wheel. Babbling creek right outside our door! Nice trail in campground, also went to top and hiked Alpine Lake trail. Absolutely clean vault toilets!

Rustic Barn RV Park - Kieler, Wisconsin

We arrived early afternoon Friday and were greeted warmly and by friendly staff. They showed us to our site and we looked around and thought-wow what a beautiful place! The sites are ALL full hook up! Some have concrete pads, some are gravel. Our site was LEVEL!! We chose a site with a concrete pad, the space between sites was excellent! Very well kept campground with nice grounds, gravel roads, T...

All About Relaxing RV Park - Theodore, Alabama

This park is a hidden gem! Very clean and maintained, was greeted and escorted to our site when we arrived. Each site has a welcome sign with your name on it, including your pets name. Nice dog walk area, pool, community seating area and fire pit. Each site is gravel with a concrete pad and picnic table. Gated with a code. As a thank you for staying at their park, they give you a jar of jam.

Big Hart Campground COE - Thomson, Georgia

The sites were spacious and well maintained. The caretakers do an excellent job of making everyone feel welcome and they take excellent care of the facility. The view from most sites include the water. Almost all of them are in plenty of shade. The patios are large and include picnic tables, fire ring, BBQ and a fish cleaning table. We will be back to stay here!

Diamond Lake Resort - Owensboro, Kentucky

Our stay was fabulous! We would highly recommend this place. Everyone is so friendly! Golf carts are allowed. We love riding the go carts & playing miniature golf. The pizza is yummy! They even have a church on Sunday mornings. Gorgeous sunsets!! This is definitely a place for Family Fun!

North Sandusky Campground COE - Sesser, Illinois

The 5 COE campgrounds share common management, and I have driven through 3 of the areas. Comments in this paragraph should apply to all five. Roads to and in the areas were in good shape, blacktop with no trees overhanging the roads. Sites were paved with picnic tables and fire rings. Area was mown and trimmed. Facilities were clean and in good working order. Camp hosts are available. Diffe...

Manatee Springs State Park - Chiefland, Florida

Provided you understand it's a state park in Florida (meaning one should expect dirt roads and sand/gravel sites in the campground along with the Florida menagerie of insects like mosquitoes and ticks), it's a very nice park. Deer freely roam through the campgrounds. While the sewer connection is above grade to protect from flooding, since so few Florida state parks have sewer, one with ...

Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park - Middlebrook, Missouri

Stayed two night in early October. Electric only. 50A service but weather was cool so no AC used. The sights are level and concrete! This included the broad adjacent pad for the picnic table and built-in fire pit. We stayed in Loop 3, site 304 and the sites were close but the relatively thick woodlands helped with sense of privacy. Roads and trails were in 1st class condition. 30 minute easy...

Days End RV Park - Standish, California

This is a great little privately owned park close to the 395. There are both pull-through and back-in sites available. The owner, Arnold, is very old school. You need to call for a reservation. Arnold is very friendly and fun to talk to. The park is clean and well maintained. And the grass between the sites is actually lush and green. There is also a fenced dog area. The wi-fi is exceptional, the ...

Bayard City Park - Bayard, Nebraska

City park, level with electric and water. Great overnight spot.

Wallace Creek COE - Enid, Mississippi

Wow! Best COE ever! Clean, spacious, awesome views of the lake! Lot of swings. A fish hatchery just down the road. Full hook up, almost unheard of in a COE! With our senior discount we only paid $10. Lots of crappie fishing going on in early October! We were on site #30. We will definitely be back!
