When I first saw reviews online I was kind of skeptical but reviews being what they are usually I just booked our time here anyway because it looked interesting from what few customers have posted pictures of. I was VERY happy with the way they maintain the campsites!! I was pleased to meet the nice couple who ran the front desk & everything turned out great for nearly a whole week of camping! The...

Beautiful Park, Lake and Campground. Staff at the Resort were very accommodating. Restrooms and Showers were clean and fellow campers were very nice. Can't wait to go back next year.

Needed a place to stay while visiting family in Denver. This park is easy access from I-25/225. Our site was nicely spaced from neighbors with cement pad and full hook-up. Shade helped with upper 90s heat though mosquitoes were intense given nearby lake and vegetation. Screen tent would be very useful here. It was very quiet and we could not hear the highway. $50 price included 10/day park a...

Called ahead 3 hours to ensure a Pull thru with full hook-ups was available since I needed to do laundry and wanted to ensure the 2 A/C units were able to keep up with the humidity and temperature for me and my 2 dogs. I can't say enough good things about the management and efforts they put into this campground. Upon arrival the attendent took me for a tour of the property and presented me wi...

Beautiful campground along the Bow River with the Rockies around you. This is a great place to set up basecamp to explore the endless recreational opportunities thw Rockies has to offer. You could also day trip to Lake Louise and Banff. Canmore is only 15 minutes west with all the restaurants and shopping you need. The campground does have a very small store. There are trails for hiking and biking...

This is a very nice RV resort/park. Check in was easy. The staff kind enough to move us to back-in site 37 with FHUs where we had a small park like setting that gave us more grass space. We were escorted to our site and escort helped back us in. The park was quiet with very little road noise. There was a good mix of seasonal and transient RVers. Compared to other public parks we have stayed ...

We have a small rig so the showers are important to us. There were 2 showers per bathroom and they were really nicely maintained. This park is only 2 years old so the laundry and bathrooms are new also. No mold, dirty tiles, or anything. It is right across the street from the beach, so each morning we took our coffee to the pool and enjoyed the view. The young lady who checked us in was very nice ...

Finally able to get family members to this campground. We took 5 sites for 4 days and weather was fantastic. Table Rock Lake was beautiful and fun for everyone since Son-In Law brought boat. Bike rides were many and comments were positive. Like, "I do not see a bad site in this campground!" Sites are clean; Electric and water connections are good; Sites are paved and level. There is just not...

We stayed here for a month while waiting for our property in New Mexico to be ready for occupancy. This park is operated by the nicest couple on the planet. They have cleaned, cleared and improved all the sites and the area of the park. The park has great hookups for all sites. Different prices go with front parking ($25.00), middle pull thrus($40.00), and back in sites with beautiful views of...

The site was clean, easy to back into, with our 3800FK (site B7). Water and 50amp service. No sewer. In addition to customary picnic table, there is a prep table and a garbage bag hook on each site. The views were amazing looking out at the water. No official beach (bring water shoes - very rocky) but pretty easy to access from various entry points, life jackets available at gate house. Nicest ...

This is a small RV park, but very nice! We were there in May 2018 and paid winter rates. Close enough to Nags Head but far enough away to be out of the congregation. I. Would definitely go back. The only bad thing is if you have to cancel your reservations there is no refund but you can reschedule your days there if you choose to.

The park was very clean. Each site had a patch of grass to enjoy with picnic tables for your use. The site spaces were good and you were not crowded against your neighbor's. This is a great stop over place to rest and regroup. The town is small but the have groceries, fuel, several eating places. There is good fishing in the river they say.

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed at. All roads are paved, sites are very level and have a paver patio we glass too table, 4 chairs and a three person swing. Our site had small evergreen trees between our site and the next site. As we were in the area for site seeing, we did not use the pool, but it looked vary nice and when we came in at night it had a solar cover on it. When we...

This is a beautiful, spacious and clean campground. We had a campsite on Heron which has a small brook that runs along the back of it. It was a very level site, as long as you stay on the gravel. There are a couple of different seasonal areas, they are kinda off to the sides. They have a large pool, crystal clear and beautifully maintained. A rec area with a bar and they cook there, pizza, bu...

From what I hear you can't get into this campground during the summer. So my husband and I went during April. It was very windy and chilly, but we had a great visit. Its a beautiful campground. When we were there Area 2 was mostly empty. Area 1 was mostly full. The history of the campground is very interesting, it was an old fort. There are several old bunkers. One you can climb to the top a...

We try to stay at this COE Park several times a year. It’s a Quiet country setting in the middle of an urban environment. The park was closed almost 2 months because of the Arkansas River flooding this spring. However they have reopened after cleaning up and repairing the flood damage and the park is better than ever. Our site is on the bank of the river and the view is beautiful. Even though it’s...

We have stayed at this campground many times and have enjoyed it every time! The hosts are always so helpful and kind! Having moose and pronghorn so close is a perk, too!

Nice place, friendly staff, roomy campsites. Had two campers, they accommodated side-by-side pull through spaces, but anticipated and arranged to pull through in opposite directions so our porches were facing each other. They are set up to support the Stergis Motorcycle rally, so outside of that Aug window they have more than ample camp spots.

Great park. Lots of shade with easy access to Cherokee. Beautiful stocked trout steam flows through the park with several sites that back up to the stream. Limited pull throughs for large rigs.

This is a great park, the lots are a nice size and they have both shaded and sunny spots depending on your preference. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a lot of activities. It is a 55+ park. The pool was very nice. It's nice that every site has both 30 and 50 amp hook up. Easy sewer hook up. I will definitely go back to this park.

Imagine arriving at an idyllic campsite in your RV, saddling your favorite equine companion, and riding off into the sunset. This situation may seem overly utopian, but equestrian campers may find it a reality. Whether you’re a full-fledged rodeo competitor or a trail-riding beginner, you shouuld give it a try. An equestrian RV trip may be just what you […]

On a crisp fall day, I stand on the shore of a lake that is sparkling with a million sunlit stars across it; the warm sun on my face making a noticeable contrast to the coolness of the breeze at my back. The day is a perfect blend of summer shorts and soft fall flannel […]
