Beautiful venue! Right on the water, fresh and green! Very well kept park. Soft serve machine on the honor system for only $1.00. Pretty cool idea. Great for outdoor sports. Not a lot of other stuff to do. More of a park to just chill and relax.

The new owners of this property have put a lot of effort and money into upgrading everything. RV sites 1 - 44 are all new, the interior roads are all paved with curbing. The sites are compacted gravel and mostly all very level. Yes, there are a mingling of cabins, yurts and even three teepees besides the RV sites, but most of them have been updated or are new. The new bathroom building is a mindbl...

We stayed two nights in a 40 foot fifth wheel. We would stay again and stay longer. This is a great park in a beautiful location with fantastic staff. I don't give away ratings of 10 and this place deserves that and more. The park includes homes and campsites on a beautiful lake formed by a damn that feeds the Cousa River. There is a beautiful water park, nice places to walk, a beach o...

A very small but very nice place to stay. We were only here one night. Nice wide spots, ours had a grass strip with nice picnic table. Staff was so nice. The owner even came by this morning to see how we liked our stay. We will definitely stop on our way back home. Also have a very easy to use on line reservation system!

This is one of the best campgrounds we have been to. We did the gas saver for 2 weekends and will most likely do 3 weekend next year. We paid for the weekend stay then 10 bucks for the week storage. This place is big enough for larger campers to get around no problem. The roads are all paved and wide. The sites are all 3/8 clean stone and large enough to spread out. We like to stay on the back sid...

This large, attractive park is the nicest campground we have ever been to. The park is well designed with a large variety of sites (back-in, pull through, FHU, W/E only, tent sites, cabins, yurts, etc.) with or without cable. All sites are gravel and very wide, with fire ring and picnic table. Some of the pull through sites have a concrete patio. The majority of sites appear to be level. Lots...

Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in A46. Park was maybe 50% full in early June. Great hiking and biking trails with tons of Saguaro Cactus. 2 sided Dump station near exit worked fine. Sprint/ATT cells, OTA and Satellite all worked fine.

This was the most perfect family campground we've been to. The staff is very nice and they're always outside working and helping. The back sites were perfect and decent sized. They have every amenity you could need and the grounds are pristine. Our favorites were the 3 pools and brand new playground. We have little kids and they were just as entertained as all the big kids. Very clean, e...

Loved that this was a gated campground. Conveniently located off the freeway. Super clean bathrooms and a nice big dog park.

What a wonderful place to spend a week. This park is extremely clean and well kept. The park is right off 80 and easy to enter. There are two levels to this campground. The upper level accommodates larger rigs and has interior roads that are paved. There are premium sites available that are pull-in sites which overlook the lower campground and creek. The lower level accommodates smaller rigs and t...

A well kept park clean gravel roads and campsites, level. Water, electric 50amp, sewer, 100+ channels of HD cable, fast internet. I really like this place. I am here to work and this spot works great for that. Easy access to grocery, gas, restaurants, shopping. I would Recommend this park.

In the last installment, we had been camping and exploring Nevada’s Echo Canyon State Park. This week we will head up the road towards nearby Spring Valley State Park enjoying the sites and places to explore along the way. Heading north from Echo Canyon State Park on Rose Valley Road, you will come to a […]

We did not eat at the restaurant but plan to next visit. Everyone was so nice! The park is very well kept and clean. They have a nice dog park too. We went up to the wine tasting room, we tried several wines and ended up buying a 1/2 case! Their prices are very reasonable and the staff is super nice! We sent all our friends pictures of this place. Very, very nice!! We will definitely be ba...

When I pulled in I thought all of the sites were Deluxe sites with their wrought-iron tables, concrete pads and manicured lawns. Turns out those are the "standard" sites. Great dog park with agility objects, separated into two parts for small and large dogs. Friendly staff. Great Wi-Fi!

They have some pull through sites that are U shaped. We stayed in one of those. It was pretty nice but the hookups were on the right hand side of the site. So you have to stretch your water and power pretty far. The wildlife was cool, we saw deer walking through the trees in the day time. We heard there were hogs but didn’t see any. Bring bug spray, lots of horse flies. The trees are amazin...

Friendly Park Rangers and Camp Hosts. Surprisingly long, level gravel pull-thru sites, that are well-separated and staggered for maximum privacy. Wi-Fi only available near the restrooms.

Roads in were very winding and curvy so take your time. It’s a beautiful park in a valley surrounded by Mountain View’s. Sites are nice and wide and beautifully landscaped.

Many serious cooks find a good cast iron pan a kitchen staple. It can be used to perfectly brown potatoes, cook cinnamon rolls, or even roast a whole chicken. Cast iron pans can be used on the stove top, in the oven, or over a campfire. Cast iron has a high volumetric heat capacity, which […]
