I now see why Garner is such a popular park! There are so many trails to hike and walk, the Frio River is beautiful, and there are some great camp sites. The FHU sites are not that level (about 7-9 inches front to back), but they do have a handful of...

The park was fairly full for the first few days, and was full on Turkey Day. People were very nice at all sites. There were a few guests who were a bit loud after quiet time, but it was not bad or for too long.

This is our third time staying here on long weekends while traveling through. Bike and ATV trails are in close proximity, but it is quiet here. The park is very neat and tidy, even though some guests stay for the winter. Great amenities. It is a 10-m...

This is a small campground, but we loved it. It is in the middle of a forest, with trees all around. The sites were not on top of or right beside each other, and bushes in between made the sites private. Hookups were excellent and in a good position....
