What an incredible location and facility. We spent a week at Talona Ridge on site E08, which had the best views of the mountain ranges. The RV park is one of the best we have experienced.

Very nice location at Alabama's highest point. Driving our 11-ton RV up 2,700 feet to get there was a bit challenging, but it was worth the drive.

We have a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site 28 for 5 nights in early to mid September. The campground is clean and well maintained.

Let's begin with the fact that the power was out throughout Loop E; however, the park gave a 50% discount due to the inconvenience. Generators were allowed, so we managed just fine.
