We pull a 43 ft fifthwheel with an F350 Dually Truck and sites are wide enough to park next to your RV and still have your awnings and slides out. Most other parks would have double the number of sites but this one provides huge grass areas between each site!! Checkin was easy and fast. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Other RVers were really friendly. The site (#31) was PERFECTLY level!! Our...

Very nice park, and very friendly and welcoming staff.EXCELLENT brand new bathroom and shower facility in our loop - absolutely the best I have ever seen! Miles of walks and beautiful terrain - way different from the flatlands of the farming areas. As noted elsewhere, there is a daily charge in addition to the camping fee - it's worth it to get an annual pass for $35 and contribute to the par...

Many visitors to Oregon overlook the central and eastern part of the state and head straight for the Portland area or Pacific coastline. But one of the state’s most amazing natural wonders is hidden east of the Ochoco Mountains and as a result is usually much less crowded. The Painted Hills form a colorful desert […]

Sand Hollow is a GREAT (west) campground. I wouldn't call it tranquil but the scenery is a amazing and every site has a spectacular view. Sites are HUGE, our 40ft class-A looked tiny sitting there. We could have fit at least another RV and a car end to end in our site. Full hookups in most sites (if this is important to you verify on the website or call), great water pressure, solid power an...

You will be surprised at this 1st class municipal park. We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV w/o toilet or shower, plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site. So our critique is focused in that area. Operated by City of Menomonie MI; 1st class...

Nice park with very friendly staff, very clean, we lived the porches, pool and little touches that made this park very welcoming. The staff members were very nice and helpful. It was a small park but it worked for us and we'll be back. We didn't unhook for the night, sight was long enough for both RV and tow car.

Just 20 minutes west of Denver at the edge of the Rocky Mountain foothills, Golden, Colorado is a modern-day gold rush town with something for everyone. The town was first settled in 1859 when Colorado was a US territory and served as the Territory Capitol until 1867 when the more developed city of Denver became […]

This is one of the nicest RV parks that we have stayed at. The cost was reasonable and the people were nice. They have not one but two ice machines. The two ice machines may not seem like a big deal but I personally really appreciate free ice on demand. So far out of 40+ rv parks that we have stayed at in the last year, yes year, only 3 have had ice machines. RV parks if I stay at a motel 6 they h...

We stayed in the beach section during the Tulip Festival, so the park was very busy. There were sites available all the time we were there. The park is basically a parking lot and all sites are on asphalt. There was good Verizon and satellite service. We had a FHU 50 amp site. There are only a few FHU sites available. Each site has a picnic table and room for a car. The camp hosts were great. Eac...

I couldn't find a satisfactory RV facility near Chapala. I looked at one that was so far out of town, it wasn't even a possibility. Besides, it was filthy and the single hot shower was overcrowded. I happened upon this new RV park which is 10 minutes drive from Chapala. There's a small town, Ixtlahuacan, just down the road, and it has everything I need including great restaurants,...

Great park! We have stayed at a different park very close to here and it was not good (mud & terrible drainage). This park was very good, even though it had rained recently, no drainage issues. We had Site 31: a pull-thru behind the office with what looked like new gravel. Site plenty long enough for 35’ 5th wheel and to disconnect truck. Bathrooms are in office building and are individual bathroo...

The Staff at this Park were the friendliest and most helpful people we have come across. When we had an emergency situation and needed a site for a week at the last minute, they were the only park in the Nashville area that would even talk to us about working something out. Park has live music every night, they serve a different dinner meal every night and have breakfast available 7 days a week ...

Going camping means spending time in nature, and this often means dirt, mud, and sand makes its way onto your RV floors. Here's how you can keep it clean.

Another Mother's Day trip to Yogi Bear Quarryville, another rainy weekend! Every year we go back to this campsite you can see improvements all over the campground. Site 312 is level and very wide. Verizon cell signal is marginal to spotty. Two sewer connections on site, one towards the back on the site and other towards the front.

We stay at this campground on an annual basis for an extended visit with family. Sites are pull throughs and back ins. Interior roads and sites are gravel. Has fire rings on each site with wood for sale at the campground store. This visit we were able to see lots of upgrades being done. Has a small playground for children. Pool was not open on this visit. Convenient to Outlet shopping. Grove City...

This park is immaculately groomed and beautifully landscaped. From the moment we checked in, we noticed how friendly the staff are here. They gave us free waters and fruit and popcorn, then drove us to our site. There’s a river along the side of the campground and they have a small fenced in dog park. The site has grass and a worker was out staining picnic tables as we arrived. You cannot use a r...
