Very nice park. Probably the CG with the newest facilities. See pic. Very wide/ large pads. The negative comments are very old. Ignore them.

Our Fee: $1140 per/month + Elec. Definitely a RV Resort. It's not the perfect place for every RVer (e.g., it's a 5-mile drive to Port Aransas and a 17-mile drive to Corpus Christi and the schedule of organized activities for non-owners is limited). Daily and monthly rates may seem high, but the park's amenities (e.g., spacious campsites that back-up to 3 ponds, most with palm trees...

Blending the past with the present, Biloxi, Mississippi is one of the premier destinations in the Deep South. With the recent addition of another quality RV resort, this Gulf Coast city should be on your list of places to visit in 2018. Set a few hundred yards from the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf Beach RV […]

The park is beautiful, with waterfront sights, a pool, walking trails, ziplining, and other activities. The staff was friendly, but seemed pretty busy. The pool was advertised as heated, but during our March stay it was pretty cold. On a scale of 1 to 10, the restrooms were about a 6. They could have been a little cleaner. And the staff did not tell us how to gain access to them. We didn't fi...

I don't say this lightly, but Up The Creek is the PERFECT RV park in my humble opinion. So many awesome features to list. The basics: The park is very well maintained and clean with friendly staff. The sites are large with plenty of space between sites for privacy. There's trees between the sites so you don't feel you're crammed against each other. The sites are level. Our sit...

We stopped here in late March 2019 on our way through South Dakota and just needed a quick place to overnight and refresh our water and empty our gray and black tanks. The woman who lived on the property was gracious to let us stay so early before camping season and she charged us a special off-season rate. I believe this campground is probably pretty popular with the bikers who come to Stugis in ...

There’s a little something for everyone in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This town in the Ouachita Mountains is surrounded by Hot Springs National Park and less than an hour from Little Rock. It’s not only a popular spa destination, but thanks to its location among mountains, pine trees, and lakes, there are lots of ways to […]

This park is immaculate, beautiful setting on the river. Hedges and trees separate each site. I was reading some of the poor reviews, mostly complaints about their rules. I applaud the Park for enforcing rules...I don't want to see towels drying outside, trash that hasn't been put in dumpster or dog waste. One guest complained his son couldn't drive his golf cart, maybe there...

This place is a gem. I had to change my reservation by phone a couple of times. They were very helpful and easy to work with on the changes. Ditto on all other reviews regarding how wonderful this campground is. One suggestion if you arrive after check-in is to go ahead and park on a site then walk the half mile (there is a nice trail) or take your toad back to the Chevron. They do not assign...

In my last post, I shared how you can tour two historic places in Arizona for one low entry fee. If you’re in the planning stages to visit them on your next RV trek through the area, you have probably noticed they are not really on the road to anywhere and require a detour off […]

This is by far one of the most serene, beautiful campgrounds we have EVER stayed in! its located on a 71000 acre Lake with over 144 campsites(85 on water). There are 2 campgrounds, some with 50 amp service. Bring your boat and have a blast! Boating, fishing, playground, mini-golf, hiking, historic site. Stores within .5 miles.

This park is wonderful. The river runs right by and is so pretty to sit beside. Our site was shaded and no interstate noise. We did not have to disconnect our toad. I would certainly return! We almost decided to stay an extra night. Best campground so far in our cross country journey. Truck stop nearby.
