We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Crooked River. Peaceful. Good spacing between sites.
|

The campground is well-groomed with FHU, 30/50 amp service, and gravel sites bordered by 6 x 6 timbers. Each site has a hammock hanger.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paynes Prairie Preserve. The sites are nice, and the park itself is beautiful Old Florida.

i stayed in january and it was cold. the water was turned off (i knew it would be, so took extra water). no sewer hookups, but they did have a mobile collection for tanks.

This is a very nice park with spacious sites on mostly pavers. There are a lot of permanent residents in the older section and some in the middle section.

Close to Big Bend National Park west entrance. Cottonwood grocery is the only option for groceries within 50 miles and is only 1/4 mile away.

This is a lovely, well-run and clean state park. We camped at the Cypress View campground after watching some YouTube videos.

Large sites. Very good hook-ups. Nice pool and hot tub. Laundry room was very nice. They have actual hot water coming into the washing machines.

Our site was next to the pond, plenty of room and easy to back in. Gravel with cement patio.
