Yosemite Lakes RV Resort Is A Must-Visit

There are many places you can camp in the Yosemite area, but one of the best options for overall value is Thousand Trails Yosemite Lakes RV Resort.

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

A clean, well-manicured lot, facing the lake, on the dead-end street, means little noise, pleasant views, and a nice place to stay. The site had an outdoor table and chairs but no other amenities on the site. Plenty of space for us to nose in and as ...

Suwannee River Bend RV Park - Old Town, Florida

This is a very nice, quiet, and clean RV park. Fairly large but not sure of the number of sites overall. Some sites are on water with a covered wood deck extending over the water, which is an offshoot of the Suwannee River. The owner is very friendly...

Bighorn Park - Coaldale, Colorado

The owners were welcoming and super nice. Next to the road but quiet at night. The river is spectacular. They also have a small motel and cabins on the water. I highly recommend staying here.

Tombstone Territories RV Resort - Huachuca City, Arizona

This is a clean campground without amenities or facilities. It looks like there could be a pool but it is not available. I don't think there are bathrooms - never saw them. Picnic tables but no fire pit. The advertisement says no rig long big for the...

Flamingo Lake RV Resort - Jacksonville, Florida

We are traveling cross-country and selected Flamingo for a three-night stay. Boy, do we wish we were staying longer. This place is a throwback in terms of hospitality and amenities. The cafe offers lots of activities and great food. We enjoyed the ka...

Lake Mead Recreational Area - Willow Beach - Lake Mead Recreational Area, Arizona

Not a lot of spots, so always full. Camp Hosts Shelly and her husband have to be the best hosts in the country. Hall of Famers. Rates are spendy, but people are waiting in line to get in. Made reservations already a year in advance. Barely got in.

Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort - Canton, Texas

Stayed here for First Monday Trade Days. Very nice property and well maintained. Back off the main road so pretty quiet. We could hear some occasional traffic on the interstate. Not a big deal. We recommend staying here and will likely return again.

First Landing State Park - Virginia Beach, Virginia

We stayed for five nights during the opening weekend. So, the off-season. It was great! The park is very easy to get to once you get through the rough roads, bridges and tunnels that lead you to it. Check-in was easy, drive right to your site. The ca...

Manatee Springs State Park - Chiefland, Florida

Great park - I don't give 5 stars easily. Great staff, nice sites with some privacy, very quiet, dark at night. Easy walk to springs. Very clean. No manatees when we were there. Nice area for swimming in the springs (72 degrees). They are rebuilding ...

Lums Pond State Park - Bear, Delaware

We stayed at Lums Pond for two reasons, 1) We needed a place to stay on our way North from Virginia Beach, 2) We've never stayed in Delaware before. Honestly, we chose this park for those reasons. We have two little ones and wanted a place to break u...

Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort - Crystal River, Florida

Still a lot of construction going on (they don't even have all of the roads in yet), but the two sections that are open are very nice. The lots are very close, and there is just one row of pull-through sites right at the front. I assume they will be ...
