With 400 RV sites and plenty of fun in the sun, life's a beach at this highly-rated RV resort in the Golden State,

In January, it is not very crowded, with lots of space. Sites are pretty close together - more like a private campground. It would be a different experience in the summer - but it is a major tourist destination. It is a short walk to the beach, and t...

We stayed here in the spring and summer of 2023. They were working on their lazy river so that wasn't available, but the trolley took us to the Virginia Beach boardwalk. This was a nice amenity to the park as well as food trucks on the weekend. Sites...

I've lived here for about 6 months. The landlord and his wife are awesome! Everything is kept neat and tidy. There's a public bathroom and laundry as well. I highly recommend Gem City RV Park for anyone, whether short-term or long-term! I don't plan ...

We explored Cove Lake State Park on bikes and in kayaks. Both were fun. They have a paved bike path that makes for enjoyable pedaling. We'd have kayaked much longer if the weather had been a little better. It was a great lake for kayaking (a big lake...

Quiet, plenty of room, dog friendly, trash pickup at the site, laundry in the main building, narrow roads to park.

Cell phone service is not good or dependable. Wi-Fi not really usable. I use Starlink and it works well. Friendly people and it is easily the nicest park we have stayed in.

For the last 4 years, we have always stayed at Belle Isle State Park for at least a week. Beautiful park, very nice and clean sites, as well as a wonderful staff! 5 STARS!!!

This is a really nice state park. We're here in January, so the only open campsites are in the North East loop. We have a full hook-up, nice fire pit, picnic table, and a really nice level site which is graveled. Park staff were really cool at check-...

We had a very nice stay for the month of December. (Rate includes waterfront lot rate plus our electric charges - billed separately). Residents are quiet - for the most part. Sites near the office and common gathering areas could be louder during gat...

We absolutely loved our stay here for 14 nights! Electricity is metered for your actual usage, so our total cost with fees, taxes, electricity, and site rent came to $55.22/night altogether—a bargain in my estimation. Campsite #C32 is a concrete pad ...

We stayed at this campground for two weeks. It is kept so clean. The cabins are the cutest ever, but as we were in our motorhome, we didn't stay in one. There is a small fishing lake there with some cabins right on the water. Costco and other stores ...

Camped in Dubois, WY in September, we had a perfect campsite. I had a full hook up, great WiFi, the hiking trail was close to the campsite. Great place for a campfire at night and the nighttime view of the stars is spectacular. Dubois is a great town...

This small (10 sites?) surprisingly quiet (right along the main road) campground is wonderfully simple and convenient! No maps, no list of rules and regulations. They decided, I guess, that campers can figure things out! The affiliated (also very sma...

This was a hidden gem. Just off the highway, and we were easily able to get a spot with no reservations (the campground was virtually empty). I imagine it would get full during local events though. We stayed for 2 nights (FHU) so we could check out t...

In this episode we continue our adventure at McDowell Mountain Regional Park in Fort McDowell, Arizona. We hit the biking trails, go for a side-by-side spin with friends from Minnesota and Dave talks safety cones.
