Park is set right on a river, family owned. Hosts are dedicated to ensuring you have a great time. Lots of folks return to this place annually due to the homey feel. I was reluctant to join the daily activities but if you are fortunate...you get draw...

Very nice wooded campsites. Well marked. Well maintained. Cons: roadways are narrow - passable in our 44' coach, but had to be very alert. Asphalt pads are deteriorating - however there were survey stakes where it looks like they are going to re...

Very nice and clean campground. All paved roads and spacious sites that are big rig friendly. Some sites come with pergola with tables, chairs and grill. Our site was basic no frills but plenty of space.

We stayed for two weeks before TG. It is what you'd expect - desert and nothing for miles. Its perfect for a couple of weeks of doing nothing or catching up on repairs/cleaning.

Beautiful small campground with spacious sites. There's only 6 RV sites and we stayed at site 2 which had the electric and water on the wrong side, but we ran cable and hose under our RV and worked it out. The park is beautiful with tall long-leaf pi...

Nice fairly level gravel pad. There will be more sites opening up soon. There is no TV reception as there are mountains surrounding the valley. Cell service with AT&T was good.

This place is truly amazing. Yes, it's kind of in the middle of nowhere, but that's the charm. I read about it maybe 5 or 6 years ago, and I'm happy to say it lived up to the dark sky hype. No frills, just a quiet place to hike a bit a...

We called ahead to see if there was room since Lackland operates without reservations. Unfortunately there wasn't any room and overflow was full as well. However, we were then offered to park in an empty dirt lot next to the campground while wai...

25 campsites with full hook ups. The rest are without sewer hook ups or tents only. Lots of trees along the first 25 sites, no Wi-Fi, no cable, if you have satellite you need to be in the spaces without sewer. They do have a dump station on the way o...

Absolutely loved the location. Stayed here 4 nights in November. Incredibly easy access to Manhattan. Ferry to Wall street leaves from dock next to park, or walk a few blocks to light rail for ferry to 911 memorial area, or walk a couple blocks more ...
