Visiting Desert Shadows RV Resort In California

Coachella Valley is home to several wonderful RV parks, including Desert Shadows RV Resort. Learn more about this great destination!

Coopers Rock State Forest - Bruceton Mills, West Virginia

Stayed in Site 20. Enjoyed our early November weekend here as always. Glad they are keeping the campground open later in the season. They cut down a ton of trees just behind this site. Wondering if they plan to expand the campground. Mens bathroom ha...

Crystal Cove State Park - Moro Campground - Laguna Beach, California

This is one of the best campgrounds I've stayed in. Very easy access to one of the best beaches in Orange County, and an array of great hikes. The campground rangers were extremely helpful upon check-in: they gave us maps of the area and recommended ...

Canton KOA - Silver Spur Resort - Canton, Texas

A newer KOA on a busy two-lane highway easy to get to, aesthetically pleasing, and free of roadway traffic noise. At present 55 pull through sites, 11 back in sites (appear to be permanent), 13 cabins, tent sites (individual and group), and a segment...

Bull Run Regional Park - Centreville, Virginia

Large park with nice sized sites, this time of year they have a Festival of Lights. Staff made sure I knew it affected my stay. I received an email ahead of my visit and went over it again when I showed.

Volunteer Park Travel Campsite - White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico

Extremely nice park. It was quiet with a nice view of mountains. Each site had a covered patio area. It was easy access onto the base with military ID. Guards were helpful to give us best directions to park. GPS was not helpful inside of the base. It...

Wolf RV Park - Deming, New Mexico

Close to the City, plenty of services; grocery shopping, (Walmart), Dollar store(s), hardware, and RV supplies. Fast Food of the usual major brands, but more LOCAL Food Trucks, and local restaurants... Full Hook Ups, Laundry only $1.00 wash, and same...

Gulf State Park Campground - Gulf Shores, Alabama

It is an oasis in the middle of commercialization. Beautiful park with LOTS of activities. Over 25 miles of hiking/biking tails. We road our bikes to the beach and about 10 miles around Shelby Lake. Over 400 level paved sites with FHU. Clean bathroom...

Torry Island Campground - Belle Glade, Florida

We had a waterfront site that was spacious, private and shaded. People in the campground office where great. Nice walking trails - 1 or 2 miles. Not much in Belle Glade but sugar cane. The park is gated.

Juno Ocean Walk RV Resort - Juno Beach, Florida

Loved Juno Beach which is walkable. Heated pool was nice too.

Orange Grove RV Park - Bakersfield, California

Orange trees at each site with small groves bordering. Easy to maneuver on inner roads. We would stay again.

Desert Eagle RV Park - Nellis AFB, Nevada

We preferred the older section with more privacy. Great walking area around the park.

Cherokee Campground - Blacksburg, South Carolina

Driving through we decided to stay here for the night. What a perfect choice. Can't beat the full hook-up price, pull-thru so we didn't have to unhook, friendly owner, level, well taken care of grounds, nice pergola with chairs that look in...

New Orleans RV Resort & Marina - New Orleans, Louisiana

Easy guided access to our site. Site was level, however the sewer hookup was awkwardly at very front of site. Overall great park, Passport America discount for basic back-in site only. We needed pull-thru to keep toad connected. Used Uber to go downt...

Video: The Border Hookups - RV Travel in Small Town USA

In this episode we visit a small town frozen in time. Lowell, Arizona once stood on its own before becoming part of the quaint little canyon town of Bisbee. We spend Thanksgiving with the Equine community in Sonoita, Arizona and our Schwintek slide system is having some major issues. We return to Las Cienegas Wildlife Refuge in Sonoita, Arizona for some amazing boondocking. After struggling with t...
